It has been quite a winter.  What a way to bring in the new year!  I trust that friends of Drawing Nigh to God Ministries are having a good year thus far into 2011.

We have been extremely busy between pastoring the Ringgold Faith Baptist Church, administrating the Fieldale Victory International Christian Academy, and teaching at both the Greensboro Bible Institute and the Bassett Cornerstone Bible College. Someone has aptly said that we get weary in the work but not weary of the work!  How true!

Along with these obligations, I have still been able to minister the Word through chalk talks in various churches.  I preached revivals, vacation Bible schools, special meetings, etc., in 18 different churches in 2010.  I thank the Lord for all open doors!

Pray for Bethany.  She will be graduating from both Piedmont Baptist College and the High Point University in May.  Then she and Jason Seymour will marry on July 30.  Pray for mom and me; this is definitely new territory for us!

At this writing, Darlene is very sick with a terrible sinus infection, but other than that, her health is doing well.  My diabetes is still unstable; it has been that way for over ten years.  I would like to see the Lord provide for me a special touch.
